Technical information and other resources

There are various tech sheets and other, similar information that we often provide to clients and service providers. We'll post some of them here, to make them easier to find and access.

Specification for delivery of images

Delivering images to be loaded into a qd documents database requires that you provide (1) a directory containing the image files and (2) a cross-reference file that matches document numbers to files in the directory.

Specification for delivery of native files

The qd documents application supports the attachment of files -- such as word processing, spreadsheet, and other native or eDiscovery files -- to database document records. For batch-loading, the files should be delivered in a directory, along with a cross-reference file that specifies the document to which each file should be attached.

Specifications for qd load package

The qd documents application accepts load files for document data (fielded data and full text) that are similar to files required by other litigation database software (see above). However, the software also accepts data in the form of a "qd Load Package" that is more convenient for the user and loads much faster. This document describes the structure of the load package.
